Leave of a patient companion for the caretaker

Required Documents:

  1. A copy  of the person with disability and caretaker civil id  (in case of its completion).
  2.  Official notification (in the event that the companion is a husband or wife).

Procedures

Determined based on the case:

  1.  A letter from the Management of Treatment Abroad stating the period of leave after returning from travel (outside Kuwait).
  2. The medical report states the date of admission and discharge from the hospital (government hospitals) and the accompanying report (inside Kuwait).
  3. A letter from the General Medical Council if he is a household companion (based on the recommendation of the treating doctor and the decision of the General Medical Council)
